Download Conquer Online: install the client step by step

Steps

• Open the download page and press "Download (Windows)".
• Unzip to a short folder such as C:\Games\DarkConquer, not inside the zip itself.
• Install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86) and .NET Framework 4.8 if you don't have them.
• Run Play Dark Conquer.bat: it connects to our server and installs any new update before the game opens.
• Log in with the account name and password you made on the register page.

Already have the game?

Get the small update file from the same page, unzip it inside your Conquer Online 2.0 folder and replace the files. You only do this once; after that updates install themselves.

Antivirus

Some antivirus tools flag CLHook.dll, the loader that points the client to our server. Add an exception for the game folder. If the game still won't open, see fixing game errors.
